On the occasion of his personal exhibition at Sissi Club, Madison BYCROFT offers the production of the Waterlogue film accompanied by a sculptural set.
Waterlogue explores metric systems and the way in which these standards of measures govern our speeches, Our expressions and our representation in pictures. Inspired by water dynamics - waves, tides, worts, currents - The film offers the invention of a less rigid narration of narration, more unstable, non-binary and opaque.
Also theoretical and philosophical project, Waterlogue is built around key figures (i.e. kamau braithwaite, Astrida Neimanis, Edouard Sliding) and experiment, more concretely, The application of fluidity to moving images.
