The Nancy Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to welcome the South African artist Faith XLVII this spring this spring, With the chiaroscuro exhibition.

Multidisciplinary artist and major figure in contemporary urban art, Faith XLVII explores today a wide range of media, supports and materials for its creations. His exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts presents himself as a research about the dualities that make up us and that make up our world.


The artist presents his work as follows: "A research on shade and light. About nature. About our behavior. The conscious and the subconscious. Connection and dissonance. Faith XLVII brings together around forty works - drawings in Nancy, tapestries, polaroids, Multimedia videos and installations - which question the ambivalence, even the ambiguity, From the concept of chiaroscuro and invite us to question our own perception of shadow and light.
