The CNRS, The University of Rennes and the University of Potsdam are pleased to announce their summer school on "the classification of environmental points clouds" to be held online on May 15 and in face -to -face from June 12 to 15 in Rennes (France)
May 15 (online) will be devoted to an introduction to point clouds in geosciences, classification and automatic learning. From June 12 to June 15 (on site in Rennes), Several theoretical conferences and practical exercises on the classification of points clouds will be offered. We will work with different types and data sets, including points of points based on air and terrestrial lidars and on the structure from the movement, Coming from urban and natural environments. Quatrees guest speakers will present their work on deep learning approaches for the classification of points clouds. It will be possible to attend the guest speakers remotely without registration. Details will be communicated later.
Target audience
Researchers at the start of a career, including postdoctoral researchers
Graduate students
Research support engineers
Staff of companies and agencies using points of points in the field of geosciences.
