theThursday February 2 in La Sauvenière, The NGO Cooperation Education Culture (CEC) organizes, In partnership with Les Grignoux, The closing evening of its exhibition "Revolution Rap, An African story? ", Presented for two months at the Mirror City. From testimonials from artists, This exhibition reveals the existence of a rap movement in Africa, which goes beyond simple mass culture and which accompanies major political and social changes.

To close this immersive experience at the sources of hip-hop and rap in Africa as well as in African diasporas in Belgium, We invite you to a party punctuated by theBadi and Jny concerts, established artists and emerge, Protagonists of the Hip-Hop Movement in Belgium, Followed by an openmic.

Badi, Born in Brussels, Badibanga Ndeka makes its classes within the Chant D. Loups collective. After collaborations with Sefyu or Youssoupha, The little rapper abandons the pack. Alone, He shapes his universe and sets the groundwork for a real revolution. Badi has been there from the start. Long before the hype and the triumph of Brussels rap, He was already putting the flow alongside the friend Stromae. Food for MTV clips and Congolese rumba, The artist built a sound and a solid reputation. At the time of conceiving "spoilsport", His latest album, Badi has teamed up with the avant-garde ideas of producer Boddhi Satva. Where the sounds of Boddhi Satva, Pioneer of the Afro-House and inventor of the ancestral soul, invite the listener to dance until the early hours, Badi's words agitate consciences and upset certainties. Under lush melodies, His texts highlight the deficiencies of a failing company.

Jny is a young Namur artist of 20 years. Follower of melodies, in rap or in song, His music has great RNB/pop/rap influences. She tackles themes such as love, The sadness as well as the rage to succeed in his art. The young Congo-Dutch is mainly inspired by her misadventures to write her texts. Early 2021, Jny meets Ob League, A collective now bringing together 7 members. More talented all the one than the others, This allowed JNY to flourish musically and to be able to discover new facets of his passion. She also meets a young talented Namur artist, called Bokken with whom she collaborates.
