In 2018, We had presented the competition exhibitionThe day, The night who introduced, among other things, Many Nièvre artists. Today, It seems important to put a new spotlight on Burgundian artists: this is the goal of tiny, Poetry of the invisible which is a collective exhibition bringing together four artists from the region.
The creators of this exhibition are Christine Vadrot (painter), Jim Roudier (photographer), Bertrand Chevalier (writer), and Guy Machoro (painter / installation). Four artists with very varied horizons and various practices who find themselves at the crossroads of this theme of "showing the invisible".
Tiny qualifies what is tiny, which does not count, Which is at the bottom of the hierarchy. Show the tiny, it is to discover an invisible world, A parallel world, A world we do not have access without the key to the artists' gaze. What does not count then becomes a poetic and precious universe.
The common point between Christine Vadrot, Jim Roudier, Bertrand Chevalier and Guy Machoro is their ability to transfigure reality, The intangible, The unfathomable. They have all four this ability to capture an abstraction in a canvas, a photograph, A word or a movement, to transfigure it and make it accessible, modified and magnified.
Tiny, poetry of the invisible is an appointment with the limbo.
The opening of the exhibition will take place Tuesday, January 24 at 6.30 p.m.
