21st edition of the festival

January 28 and 29, The Occitanie youth book festival is back in Saint-Orens-de-Gameville for a new edition around theTheme "It is built ..!" »».
Many activities are a program to discover the work of guest authors and illustrators.

Programming

The festival is mainly held in the Pierre-Paul Riquet high school in Saint-Orens-de-Gameville.
Continuous animations:

• Signing sessions all weekend from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Festival Youth Bookstore
• Entertainment throughout the weekend

Saturday January 28

Early childhood programming:

• From 10 a.m. to 12 noon: Parents-child workshops and library corner offered by the house of early childhood (upon registration, limited gauge)
• At 2:30 p.m.:A large collective garden, Parents-child workshop and realization of a collective fresco with the author Clémence Sabbagh (from 4 to 7 years old)

Youth workshops:

• At 10:30 am:To bite!, Illustration workshop with Marie Dorléans (from 6 years old)
• At 2:30 p.m.:Archipop-up (from 6 to 10 years old)
• At 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.:What if we built a tact-illustrated image? (from 2 to 7 years old)
• At 10:30 am and 2:30 p.m.: Pop-up workshop (6 to 10 years old)

Readings and shows:

• At 10:30 am:The other side of the mountain, Participatory performance reading with Géraldine Alibeu
• At 3.30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.:In the nest of the giants With Édouard Manceau (from 3 to 5 years old)

Meetings and debates:

• At 2:30 p.m.: With Cambourakis editions, With Charlotte Groult and Laura Nsafou
• At 16 o'clock :Build, talk about adolescents differently, With Marie Colot and Thierry Colombié, Hosted by Crilj Midi-Pyrénées
• At 5 p.m.: Country awards for children from the book

From January 20, The festival is also deployedIn other municipalities in the metropolis (Toulouse, Aucamville, Brax, Cornebarrieu, Fenouillet, Fonbeauzard, Gretentour, Mondonville), as well as in other places in Saint-Orens-de-Gameville (Altigone media library, Bookstores of books and you).
