Back to the previous future. Archaeological treasures of the 21st century is a funny and offbeat exhibition that shows the world of today, As it could have been discovered by 41st century archaeologists.

In the exhibition hall, Familiar objects rub shoulders with the shovels, rifle sockets and even garden dwarfs to show in a humorous tone that archeology, that it relates to the past or the future, always combines in the present.

The first edition of the exhibition was born two decades ago under the management of Laurent Flutsch. Real success, It is presented again in 2022-2023 in a modernized version. A great way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Roman Museum of Lausanne-Vidy and pay tribute to its former director.
