Collective exhibition in a newly set up artistic space which benefits from being known by its atypical character and its extraordinary dimension. The Filature and the Marckdefabrik association are pleased to welcome within its artistic space freshly renovated a collective exhibition of paintings.

The exhibition will be held from August 27 to October 15 and will host the works of three French -speaking artists:

Anaïs Gumy, Ruben Ahmad and Romain Iannone.

They will all present us a personal work on painting, which will give us the opportunity to observe the singular look of each of these three artists. Will be addressed during this exhibition, different themes ranging from the observation of nature, to the impact that the human on the landscape and the relationship that we have with the technique. A work specially inspired by our locality will be presented by Ruben Ahmad: "La Tine de Conflens or the proportions of wisdom". It will also present a selection of oil paintings made since its beginnings in 2020.

Romain Iannone will be happy to explore its pictorial production techniques live in a performance/HAP PENING which will take place during the opening on August 27, where we can observe the production process of its Tapis canvases that He co-created using a wacky machine invented by him.

Finally, for this exhibition, Anaïs Gumy will present a selection of paintings made over the past fifteen years. She deploys a range of works with mixed techniques and various themes, inspired by photograms, collected images, observations and sometimes even her pure imagination.
