The Odyssey

Marion Aubert | Marion Guerrero

Relive the legendary Travel of Ulysses but from the point of view of his son, Telemachus, who struggles to build himself in the absence of his father, it is the audacity of this subtle and deliberately rudimentary theater, to the height of children , who talks about a huge adventure: growing up.

On the shore, angry, a lonely Telemachus asks questions while waiting for the return of his father, Ulysses: "Why did he go?" And this father whom he knows only through the heroic exploits told to him, who is he? How to grow without him? "A bunch of children arises on the beach to console him, play with him, no doubt other orphans of sailors who left with his father. There is Mentor, the leader of the band, and the young goddess Athena, who will show Télémaque the adventures of Ulysses until his return from his mother Pénélope. With the colorful and rhythmic tongue of Marion Aubert, transcended by live music and an aesthetic of science fiction, the director Marion Guerrero makes the famous myth of Homer a very intimate rock tale, taking the spectator in a story strong and subtle.
