Dom Juan

Molière | Olivier Maurin

This version of Molière's masterpiece, irrigated the energy of young brilliant actors, takes on an unexpected dimension. The power of the verb of the great master is beautifully sublimated by the play of these virtuosos juggling wonderfully between the tragic and the burlesque.

Dom Juan is a cultivated man who causes society. His servant, Sganarelle, oscillates between terror and the pride to serve this appalling master. So much Dom Juan reveals himself in all circumstances of a bloody narcotic, as much Sganarelle reacts in authentic superstitious poltron. We gradually discover that the challenges of the play go beyond the only desire for Dom Juan to satisfy his enjoyment. Through him, Molière denounces the obstacles that society opposes to any individual freedom. The intrigue, you no doubt know it, however, know that here it will be set to you on the set as a diamond, in particular thanks to the limitless talent of Arthur Fourcade (Dom Juan) and Mickaël Pinelli Ancelin (Sganarelle). In a sleek scenography, with a few chairs, a gramophone and a bird cage, the duo discerned and comical returns to the essence of the theater, this place where we "play"

as well as we "think".
