Shot in just two days, The Little Shop of Horrors recounts the edifying Destiny of Seymour, employed with a shabby neighborhood florist and sighing out of beautiful Audrey, who will see her existence turned upon after the discovery of a carnivorous plant 'Insatiable appetite… released in 1960, Corman's film already contains frankly comic elements accentuated in the rock musical which is inspired by it. Everything you need, in short, to seduce Valérie Lesort and Christian Hecq, amateurs of infernal grand-guignol, improbable hybridizations actors-maronnettes and other half-horrifying special effects half-hilarious. Created Off-Off Broadway in May 1982, The Little Shop of Horrors was immediately covered in prices and held the poster five years before being brought to the screen by Frank Oz in 1986. For this recreation of a classic 'Black humor (with green reflections), with the complicity of Maxime Pascal with the baguette, Lesort and Hecq will be based on a new French version.
