My national scene - Daniel Larrieu Play612 collection

How is a choreography built?

What does it mean to write dance?

With a single suitcase and some accessories, the choreographer Daniel Larrieu gives some keys to his inspiration by sharing poetic processes, playful rules, which constitute real gestural treasure hunts.

The spectator draws from a hat the actions which will be carried out by Larrieu and his two dancers, Jérôme Andrieu and Enzo Pauchet.

Fragments of its repertoire from 1982 to 2021, serve as toolboxes or springboard for the imagination.

These various materials, a reading of texts that influence work, words used as partitions, objects of objects - fabric doll or fan, reveal a section of dance manufacturing secrets.

The choreographer is told and addresses an audience from 6 to 120 years old with kindness and humor. This dance conference, where the movements are made up like rebus, where the use of numbers, chance or even error comes into scene, distills from the dream and constitutes a story of funny, sensitive and tasty choreographic creation.
