The Ganioz Project Space (GPS) Off presents the works of the artist Vanessa Udriot, a visual proposal in the form of standards registering as part of the climb to the flags of the castiaz castle this artistic project entitled Tinctoria offers a reflection On the color in connection with the place, its history and its memory. Imagining the various flags that once floated around the Bâtiaz castle, a strategic place which controlled the passage of the Grand-Saint-Bernard, the artist invites us to a trip in time.

At the heart of his project, the use of plants with tinior properties, all natives of Valais, and used in medieval times in the region. Photographed in the medieval garden of Saillon, then superimposed numerically with a painting work that inspires it, the visual rendering reveals an image with deeply grasable depths and textures.




Born in 1991 in Sierre, Vanessa Udriot lives and works in Lausanne. After a bachelor in architecture at the Haute École de Engineering and Architecture Friborg, she continued her training at the Cantonal Art School in Lausanne (ECAL) where she obtained a master's degree in visual arts in 2021.



The opening will take place on June 26: meet at 5:55 am for the sunset's raising concert in connection with the 5 continent festival, followed by brunch. The climb by small train to the Bâtiaz castle will be at 8:30 am, departure in front of the manor.
