Creation 2020 at the roundabout
Swann Arlaud slips into the skin-under the skin-from the last survivor of a civil war. A rather banal type at the start, not particularly politicized or particularly violent ... Until this point of rocking where the tragedy touched it in turn, pushing it to join the militiamen of its clan and to become a fanatic warrior. Executor 14 is not the story of a particular war. It is a theatrical experience on the borders of human psychology. By what process has this ordinary man become an actor of violence? On an empty plateau, end of the world decor, the raw, slang language of Adel Hakim's text and the animal presence of Swann Arlaud bring up this violence from each moment. A heartbreaking confession, punctuated by the musical breaths of the percussionist Mahut (Jacques Higelin, Bernard Lavilliers, Barbara, Youssou N'Dour, Jean-Michel Jarre ...).

A musician, Mahut, who plays and composes for renowned performers, a text with the knife of Adel Hakim, and Swann Arlaud, twice awarded at the César (the little peasant). Very beautiful casting for this modern tragedy. A great moment of theater!
