Often, when you want to make discoveries, the first reflex is to look towards the horizon, towards the unknown, towards the unexplored. But we too often forget that certain wonders are just hidden before our eyes, there, waiting to be revealed right next to us. Perched at 365m, with panoramic views of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, the ancient capital of the Salyens is a Fortified agglomeration whose occupation is extremely short, between 180 and 90 BC it is in front of the ramparts that time travel begins. A fascinating journey told by Mylène, Arthur or Jérôme de secrets de Ici, conference guides and archaeologists. The course takes you to wander among the archaeological vestiges which testify to the life of Salyens: ramparts, islets of housing, crafts (ovens for various uses), fortifications, habitat (houses, stairs, etc.), but also agricultural activities and industrial (presses, curses, press weight, etc.). Because, you will see, we are far from the image of these "Gallic barbarians cuts of heads", conveyed in the spirits!
